IMARA Granted Observer Status at WIPO
Bringing Performers' Voices to the World's Top Copyright Forum
IMARA has been granted Observer Status at the World Intellectual Property Organisation.
The status gives IMARA a formal seat at WIPO Assemblies, Standing Committees, and other international forums where the rules governing performers' rights get written, extending our advocacy on Authorisation, Remuneration and Transparency to the table where global copyright policy is shaped, not just where it's implemented.
We'll use this status to keep performers' interests represented as WIPO's committees take up streaming, AI, and audiovisual rights over the coming year.
With 23 member CMOs representing over 500,000 performers worldwide, IMARA defends and advances performers' rights internationally across emerging digital uses, including streaming, AI and audiovisual content.
