Board
IMARA Board is composed of nine representatives of IMARA's member CMOs across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.. It is responsible for setting and delivering IMARA's strategy across streaming, AI and audiovisual rights, in line with the organisation's mission to ensure performers are authorised, fairly remunerated, and treated with transparency wherever their work is used.
With direct experience of performer representation across three regions, Board members ground IMARA's advocacy in the realities of musicians navigating streaming, AI and audiovisual markets worldwide.

ANNie morin
Chair,IMARA; Executive Director, Artisti, Canada
Annie Morin has been serving performers for over 28 years. She began her career as a lawyer in 1989, then joined the Union des artistes (UDA) in 1998, first as a lawyer and later as Director of Legal Affairs. In 2006, she moved to Artisti, a Canadian collective management organization for performers, where she still serves as Executive Director.
Since 2006, Annie Morin has served on the board of directors of ReSound, where she also served as Chair from 2013 to 2015. She also held this position at the Canadian Private Copying Collective (CPCC) from 2007 to 2011. She has served on the executive committee of the Association Littéraire et artistique internationale (ALAI) since 2016 and is also a director and treasurer of the Canadian chapter of ALAI, where she served as president from 2016 to 2020. In 2020, she was appointed to the board of directors of MétaMusique and elected to the board of directors of SCAPR. Finally, in February 2025, she was elected chair of of IMARA.
Aleksandar Cvetkovic
Director of PI,Serbia
After completing management and economics studies, he first worked as a junior consultant and then as an executive in a local company specialising in intellectual property rights in Serbia. Aleksandar joined a team setting up PI, and took a leading role in 2008, as an expert member of the Board. Under his guidance, first private copy remuneration was collected and distributed in Serbia from 2009, and equitable remuneration collections and distribution were started in 2011, and supplementary remuneration in 2025.
Aleksandar is a member of the SCAPR Board and serves as both a member and chairman of SCAPR's Databases Committee.
Álvaro Hernández-Pinzón
Vice-CHair, IMARA; Managing Director, AIE, Spain
Álvaro Hernández-Pinzón has been the Managing Director of the Spanish Society of Artists AIE since January 2026. Previously, he held the positions of Global Business Director, Director of the Legal Department, and Director of Collection within the organization.
At the international level, he is Vice-President of IMARA, Chair of the Legal Committee of FILAIE (the Ibero–Latin American Federation of Performers), and a member of the Board of Directors of ALADDA (the Spanish group of ALAI).
He has been a practicing lawyer for 25 years. He is Academic Director of the master’s degree in Representation of Artists at Pons Business School and teaches on Master’s program in Copyright Law at the Autonomous University of Madrid, Universidad Carlos III of Madrid, ESADE, ICADE, and Magister Lucentinus (Alicante)
Christophe Van Vaerenbergh
Managing Director, PlayRight, Belgium
Christophe VanVaerenbergh has been the managing director of PlayRight since 2010. PlayRight is the sole CMO (collective management organisation) for performing artists in Belgium, representing more than 22.000 directly affiliated musicians and actors. Prior to joining PlayRight, Christophe was the managing director of the Belgian Standards Bureau between 2006 and 2010. From 2000 until 2006 he was an advisor to several Belgian ministers on topics related to ICT, privacy, and intellectual property issues. He is a lawyer by training, specialized in IT law and copyright law, and currently lives in Ghent.
Dominic McGonigal

Dominic McGonigal is a composer, entrepreneur and industry leader with over 40 years' experience across music rights and policy, recognised for delivering major advances in creator remuneration across the UK, EU and worldwide.
He led the campaign extending copyright term for performers and producers by 20 years, now a global standard, and helped secure new streaming-related rights for musicians and actors across the EU. In senior leadership roles including at PPL, he oversaw a period of significant growth, taking revenues from £50m to £150m.
As Music Industry Adviser to the UK Government, he authored Consumers Call The Tune, a landmark report on emerging technology's impact on music rights. In 2025, he was the driving force behind the creation of IMARA.
José Luis Sevillano Romero
General Coordinator, IMARA; Executive Vice President of AIE, Spain
José Luis Sevillano Romero has been Director General of AIE (Society for the Management of Musical Artists of Spain) since 1999, having joined the organisation in 1994. He is currently CEO/Executive Vice President of AIE.
Internationally, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of SCAPR since 2012, becoming President in 2022, and a member of its Database Committee. In 2019, he was elected to the Administrative Council of AEPO-ARTIS, and has served as President of the Technical Committee of FILAIE, encompassing the collecting societies of Latin America, Portugal and Spain.
Since the end of 2023, he helped organise the lobbying structure that led to the creation of IMARA in 2025, where he now serves as General Coordinator.
Kyoko Kojima
Vice- chair, imara; General Manager of International, CPRA, japan
Kyoko Kojima is the General Manager of International, CPRA (Center for Performers’ Rights Administration) in Japan. Kyoko has been engaged in work related to international development and cooperation as a secretariat of the Agency of Cultural Affairs, the Ministry of Education, and Copyright Research and Information Center and joined CPRA in 2010.
Kyoko has been in charge of the negotiation and agreement with CMOs, the data exchanges for collection and distribution, and the management of exchanges with SCAPR, WIPO and other international organisations, and was appointed as General Manager in 2022. Kyoko is also focusing on supporting the development of CMOs in the Asian region.
Pál Tomori
CEO of EJI, Hungary
Dr Pál Tomori is the CEO of EJI, the Hungarian collective rights management organisation representing performing artists. He is also Vice-President of the Association of European Performers’ Organisations (AEPO), President of the Hungarian Copyright Forum Association — the Hungarian Group of ALAI — and a board member of the Hungarian Copyright Experts Council.
Alongside his leadership roles, Dr Tomori is a visiting lecturer on copyright at the Deák Ferenc Postgraduate Training Institute of Pázmány Péter Catholic University in Budapest, and at the Institute of Arts, Communication and Music of the Faculty of Humanities at Eötvös Loránd University, also in Budapest. He is the co-author of all four editions of the Comprehensive Commentary to the Hungarian Copyright Act published between 2019 and 2025.

Stefan Lagrell is the Managing Director of SAMI, Swedish performers’ rights organisation, and Musicians’ Interest Organisation. SAMI was founded in 1963, and now has more than 60,000 members.
SAMI was a founding member of IMARA and Stefan is the Treasurer of IMARA.
Stefan has over 40 years of experience in the music industry, including both the live music sector and record companies.
Apart from IMARA, Stefan is currently a board member of SCAPR (Societies’ Council for the Collective Management of Performers’ Rights), AEPO-ARTIS (Association of European Performers’ Organisations), Export Music Sweden and MusikSverige (a cross-industry platform for Swedish organisations in the music business).
